Vilija Vitkute works as a professional body painter since 2013 with different technics: camouflage, illusion, special effects, UV, abstract, installation body-painting face-painting, and creative makeup. She is a world body painting champion in special effects. She is known worldwide for her camouflage body-painting artworks, she has created the first arctic camouflage body-painting calendar in the world.

Vilija started to work with paper art at the early age of 12. Today she combines it with her body painting, costume design, and installations.
Her paper art was seen in International media like VOGUE and used for films and videos.
Photography for Vilija was one of the first ways to picture her creativity and the way she sees the world, in her early teenage life she started to work as a photographer till today.
She mainly works with art/ fine art photography, portrait, and travel photography.

Vilijas art speaks mostly about human nature. She believes that artists are a crucial voice in discussing climate change and human impact. Vilija’s passion for art comes from nature,
music, people, and stories. She works about the human body,
environment, equal rights, and climate change. Her body painting is special because she creates it with organic paper art designs, she paints people blending into surroundings, and she also uses body painting to express the culture, the body movement.
She has created in different places in the world, from the mountains in Morocco to the barren landscapes of the Arctic circle. Her art and videos won
prizes in Sweden and worldwide..
Multidisciplinary artist Vilija does commercial work with bodypainting, paper art as well as photography internationally for TV commercials, different brands, companies, agencies, etc.
Nature protection and human rights
Artists have been working on nature protection for over 6 years, with different projects around the world, especially about endangered animals and marine life. Artist, herself become vegetarian in her later teenage life and today trying to eat mostly vegan. Her daily life and work are most sustainable. She pays big attention to her actions, and daily choices when it comes to protecting nature -Mother Earth especially when we are living in climate crises-human crises times.
Vilija as well works on human rights, she did a few projects in Sweden. "Allas lika värde" project about equality and human rights in Falun with 600 children and as well about LGBT rights at different parades in the EU.
